Atoms and Physical Properties

Nickel is a lustrous silver-white metal with a silvery white with a hint of gold that can be highly polished. Nickel is one of only four elements that are ferromagnetic at or near room temperature, and the other three are iron, cobalt, and gadolinium. Its Curie temperature is 355 °C, above which bulk nickel loses its magnetic properties. Nickel is used in a variety of specific and easily recognizable industrial and consumer products, including stainless steel, alnico magnets, coins, batteries, electric guitar strings, microphone boxes, and many specialty alloys. It should be emphasized that nickel is an alloy metal, and its main uses are nickel steel and nickel cast iron, and there are many kinds of them. Nickel is also widely used in other alloys, such as nickel brass and nickel bronze, and other alloys containing various metal elements (such as Ingonel, Incoalloy, Monel, and Nickel Munch), while various Alloying elements include copper, chromium, aluminum, lead, cobalt, silver and gold. Because of its good corrosion resistance, nickel was occasionally used in place of decorative silver in the past. Beginning in 1859, nickel was occasionally used as a cheap coinage raw material in some countries (see above), but by the late 20th century nickel had been largely replaced in coins by cheaper stainless steel (i.e. iron), which is the case in U.S. coins. Important exceptions to the trend.

Ni201

Ni201 pure nickel is a pure nickel grade with extremely low carbon content. It has been used to serve high temperature environments up to 1230 °C. It has excellent corrosion resistance to caustic soda, chlorine, etc. In particular, it is used in the material environment of diaphragm electrolytic caustic soda production equipment. Similar grades of Ni201 are Alloy 201, N02201, 2.4068, Nickel 201. Ni201 nickel wire has good mechanical strength, corrosion resistance and high heat resistance, and is suitable for making vacuum devices, electronic instrument components, and filters for chemical production of strong alkalis. Ni201 pure nickel product is suitable for radio, electric light source, machinery manufacturing, chemical industry, and is an important structural material in vacuum electronic devices.

Ni200

Ni200 pure nickel alloy has a slightly lower nickel content than Ni201, in which the content of Ni and Co is greater than 99.5%, and the content of other impurities is not higher than 0.5%. Ni200 has the characteristics of acid and alkali resistance, especially its outstanding alkali corrosion resistance. It has excellent alkali and neutral solution medium for carbonate, nitrate, sulfate, chloride and acetate salt Corrosion resistance, stable performance in atmosphere, fresh water and sea water. At the same time, it also has good processing performance and high electric vacuum performance. Therefore, Ni200 is widely used in chemical, chemical, mechanical and electronic industries, and is mainly used to make various alkali-resistant equipment.   76a82db8ca2a1f4346dc3a7b096a6af 71067de5da0baf37d65a2e586709322
