  • High strength. Titanium alloy has high strength, the tensile strength is 686-1176MPa, and the density is only about 60% of steel, so the specific strength is very high.
  • High hardness. The hardness HRC of titanium alloy (annealed state) is 32-38.
  • Low elastic modulus. The elastic modulus of titanium alloy (after annealing) is 1.07810-1.17610MPa, which is about half of that of steel and stainless steel.
  • Excellent high and low temperature performance. At high temperature, titanium alloy can still maintain good mechanical properties, its heat resistance is much higher than that of aluminum alloy, and its working temperature range is wide. At present, the working temperature of the new heat-resistant titanium alloy can reach 550-600. At low temperature, the strength of titanium alloy is higher than that at normal temperature, and it has good toughness. At -253, low temperature titanium alloys can still maintain good toughness.
  • Titanium has strong corrosion resistance. In the air below 550, titanium will quickly form a thin and dense titanium oxide film on its surface, so its corrosion resistance in oxidizing media such as air, seawater, nitric acid and sulfuric acid, and strong alkali is better than most Stainless steel.
