2. Heat Treatment Of UNS R30188 Alloy

Solution Treatment:UNS R30188 alloys undergo solution treatment in the temperature range of 1100-1200°C, maintaining the dissolved state of the solid solution by rapid cooling. Solution treatment can improve the ductility and toughness of the alloy.

Aging treatment: After solution treatment, the strength and creep resistance of UNS R30188 alloy can be improved by aging treatment at lower temperature. The aging treatment temperature is usually between 700-900°C, and the time is several hours.

Solution treatment can improve the yield strength and tensile strength, improve the creep resistance, and improve the service life under high temperature continuous work. Optimize grain size to reduce grain boundary corrosion and oxidation.

  • Hot rolled sheet: 1170-1190℃, air cooling
  • Cold rolled strip and sheet: 1165-1230℃, rapid air cooling
