Product Details

L605 is a cobalt-based superalloy containing large amounts of chromium and tungsten. It is characterized by excellent high temperature strength up to 1500°F (1093°C) and up to 2000°F (1093°C) in corrosive environments, with excellent oxidation resistance, vulcanization wear resistance and wear resistance.

Various properties of L605 alloy

L605 alloy, also known as Cobalt L-605, is a high-temperature, high-strength cobalt-based superalloy. L605 alloy has good corrosion resistance, high temperature strength and wear resistance, and is widely used in aerospace, shipbuilding and medical equipment.

L605 Alloy mechanical properties

L605 alloy has excellent mechanical properties, high strength, high toughness and good creep resistance. Its tensile strength, yield strength and elongation are 1210MPa, 1060MPa and 18%, respectively. L605 alloy can still maintain good mechanical properties at high temperatures, such as tensile strength at 800°C can still reach 400MPa.

L605 Alloy Chemical properties

The chemical composition of L605 alloy includes elements such as cobalt (Co), calcium oxalate (Cr), tungsten (W), niobium (Nb) and titanium (Ti). The addition of these elements makes L605 alloy with very high corrosion resistance, especially suitable for use in acidic environments. In addition, the molybdenum (Mo) element in L605 alloy can also improve its strength and hardness.
