MP159 Alloy Rod

MP159 cobalt-based alloy is a Co-Ni-Cr precipitation-hardened deformation superalloy with nickel, chromium and molybdenum for solid solution strengthening, with ultra-high strength, ultra-high strength at room temperature and high temperature, good plastic toughness and high stress corrosion resistance. Commonly used in the aerospace field, engine manufacturing, turbines, in the Marine environment, but also widely used.

MP159 Heat Treatment Process

  • Solution treatment 1040 ~ 1055℃,4 ~ 8h,
  • Water cooling + 48%±1% cold drawing deformation at room temperature + aging treatment 650 ~ 675℃, 4 ~ 4.5h, air cooling

MP159 Forging Process

  • The forging temperature of MP159 alloy is 1150℃
  • For forging, the opening forging temperature shall not be less than 1100℃, and the final forging temperature shall not be less than 900℃.
