Inconel 600 UNS N06600  can resist corrosion and high temperature, and has high strength and easy processing. It is resistant to chloride ion stress corrosion cracking, sulfide and oxidizing media in high temperature environments. It has good corrosion resistance in organic acids such as formic acid, acetic acid and stearic acid, and moderate corrosion resistance in inorganic acids. It has excellent corrosion resistance in high-purity water used in the primary and secondary cycles of nuclear reactors. The particularly outstanding performance is that it can resist the corrosion of dry chlorine gas and hydrogen chloride, and the application temperature can reach 650°C. At high temperature, Inconel 600 in the annealed state and solution treated state has good anti-oxidation peeling performance and high strength in air.
