What is Inconel 718?

Inconel718 alloy is a precipitation-hardened Ni-chromium alloy containing niobium and molybdenum. It has high strength, good toughness and corrosion resistance at high and low temperatures at 700℃. The supply state may be solution treatment or precipitation hardening state.

Properties of Inconel 718

Heat Treatment

Different solution treatment and aging treatment processes will result in different material properties. Because of the low diffusion rate of γ “phase, the best mechanical properties of Inconel718 alloy can be obtained by long aging treatment.
