1. What Is Ti-8Al-1Mo-1V Titanium Alloy?

Ti-8al-1mo-1v titanium alloy is a near-alpha type titanium alloy. In addition to Ti as the main element, it also contains Al, and stable elements Mo and V. Ti-8al-1Mo-1V have strong high temperature resistance and excellent creep resistance.

3.Ti-8Al-1Mo-1V Titanium Alloy Process

  • Thermoforming: Thermoforming is similar to other α-phase alloys in that its β transition temperature is higher than that of GR5(Ti-6Al-4V) titanium alloys, thus allowing the alloy to be hot worked over a higher temperature range.
  • Corrosion resistance: Ti-8Al-1Mo-1V titanium alloy in the atmosphere and seawater and other media, stable performance, strong corrosion resistance.
  • Weldability: Spot welding, seam welding, argon tungsten arc welding and electron beam welding.

4. Heat Treatment Of Ti-8Al-1Mo-1V Titanium Alloy

The annealing temperature is 595-760℃, and the holding time is 15-75min.
