Product Details

As an electrode material, platinum has the characteristics of strong corrosion resistance, high electrocatalytic activity, high oxygen evolution potential, and low hydrogen evolution potential. Platinum-titanium anode is a special electrode made of titanium with high specific strength, good thermal stability, strong corrosion resistance, and excellent self-passivation ability, and a platinum plating (coating) layer prepared by a special process. Titanium anode technology has the performance of pure platinum electrode, and can greatly reduce the cost, so it has been widely used in the field of electrochemistry.

Platinum titanium anode process

1. Physical vapor deposition method
The method adopts vacuum ion plating and magnetron sputtering to prepare the coating. The coating prepared by this method has high bonding strength and controllable thickness to the substrate, but the preparation is completed in a vacuum chamber, so limited by equipment, it is difficult to prepare coatings for large-area and complex-shaped workpieces.

2. Electroplating method
The method is to use an external current to reduce and deposit metal ions in the electroplating solution to platinum metal on the cathode (workpiece), including molten salt electroplating and aqueous solution electroplating.

3. Sintering method
The method is prepared by brushing and high-temperature sintering, the process is simple, the requirements for equipment are low, and large-area and complex-shaped workpieces can be produced. The coating has good bonding force and uniformity, and excellent electrochemical performance and service life, and can be used for various purposes.
